I will do my best to keep this page updated with links to offers and programs that I find useful. My intention is provide links to free computer downloads, programs or utilities that will enhance your computer experience at little or no cost, and help you avoid programs that don't work or cause more problems than they solve. I personally use or have tried the programs provided here and I'm satisfied with their performance.

One of the most important things to have installed on your computer is Antivirus software. You don't have to spend $$$ to get a good Antivirus program. just click on this link and download the latest version for free. FREE! Avast Antivirus Software
Remember to uninstall any antivirus software you may already have installed on your system before installing the Avast software.
Spyware/Adware is the leading cause of computer problems that people are dealing with today! Download SpyBot and Adaware by searching for them at Downloads.com and get Spyware Blaster to disable active X and block known spyware sites.

EasyCleaner is a small program which searches the Windows registry for entries that are pointing nowhere. Easy Cleaner also lets you delete all kinds of unnecessary files such as temps and backups. You can search for duplicate files and you can view some interesting info about your disk space usage! You are also able to manage startup programs, invalid shortcuts and add/remove software.
If need an office suite but can not afford "Microsoft Office" give "OpenOffice" a try. "OpenOffice" has similar features and is compatible with "Microsoft Office" You can download it free, but I recommend paying a few dollars for the CD. Click here to learn more.

the Google website. At the top of the page, right
above the place where you'd normally type in your search term, are these small

Click on the "more" link. A small box drops down. Click on the "even more" link.
A new page opens. You'll find the link to Google Docs & Spreadsheets on the
right-hand side under the "Communicate, show & share" heading. After that,
simply follow Google's easy directions.

| Boot and Nuke does exactly what its name suggests: Once you've installed the appropriate files on a bootable floppy or copied them to a CD, just boot the computer with the DBAN disc to wipe the hard drive completely clean.
